Unspoken subject what is it and 100 examples of sentences

The tacit subject It is that subject that exists even though it is not mentioned in the sentence. Although the pronoun is not there, it can be deduced from the verb conjugation. For example "we went to the game on Saturday" is a sentence with an unspoken subject ("we" is omitted).

Sentences with an unspoken subject tell the action that takes place but do not illustrate the subject or pronoun that identifies it. A sentence with an unspoken subject will never mention the subject within the sentence.

Omitting the subject in the sentences responds to many aspects, among them it can be the metric in the poetic versification, or that for the aesthetic tastes of the author considers that it is not necessary to place the name or the pronoun in the sentence because it is understood.

In the same sentence there can be two or more tacit subjects, and the actions that take place in the context allow them to be identified. This phenomenon is also called "elliptical subject" or "omitted".
