A man made the decision to repair an old farm he had in the country. For this he hired a carpenter who would help him throughout the process.
One day he went to the farm to check on how all the jobs were going. He came early and started helping the carpenter. That day it seemed that things were not going well for him. His electric mower had run out of battery, wasting two hours of his time. Later a power outage had caused him to lose another hour. Late in the afternoon he ran out of glue and was unable to finish the tasks he had scheduled for that day. As if that were not enough when he was about to go home, his truck would not start. Faced with this situation, the owner of the farm offered to take him.
While touring the landscapes of the area, the carpenter went in silence. He seemed sad and tired after such a bad day. After thirty minutes of traveling they arrived at the carpenter's house, and surprisingly he invited him to meet his family. As they made their way to the door, the carpenter paused for a few seconds in front of a small tree of a deep green color.. He touched various branches carefully with his hands, while admiring their precious leaves.
When he opened the door, an incredible transformation occurred. His face was full of smiles, satisfaction and joy. His sons pounced on him. He gave his wife a kiss and introduced him. She invited him to a beer and a tasty patty. Saying goodbye, she accompanied him to the car.
When they passed the tree again, he couldn't help being curious and asked him about what he had done a while before in front of the tree.
Ohh, that's my trouble tree, answered.
And then he proceeded to explain and said: I know that I cannot avoid having difficulties in my work, mishaps and alterations in my state of mind. But one thing is for sure: Those problems do not belong to my wife and much less to my children. So I just hang them on the "trouble tree" every night when I get home. Then in the morning I pick them up again, because I have to fix them. The funny thing is, said the carpenter smiling, that when I go out in the morning to pick them up, there aren't as many problems as the ones I remember hanging up the night before..
The farm owner got into his car, pondering the carpenter's strategy to be happier and avoid polluting the home with work problems. He arrived at the farm and set about selecting his trouble tree. And since then every time he came home they already know the first thing he did.
And now ask yourself, in the absence of a tree, where would you hang your problems?
