Here's a little introductory story for the book I'm currently reading: "Your wrong areas" - Wayne W. Dyer
One speaker addressed a group of alcoholics determined to demonstrate to them, once and for all, that alcohol was the worst of evils. On his table on the dais he had what at first glance appeared to be two glasses filled with a clear liquid..
He explained that one was filled with pure water and the other was filled with undiluted alcohol, also pure. He placed a small worm in one of the glasses and those present could observe how it swam across the surface towards the edge of the glass, then it slid calmly until it reached the top.
Then the speaker took the same worm and placed it in the glass filled with alcohol. The worm disintegrated in full view of all. "There you have it" - said the speaker - "What do you think?" "What conclusions are you coming to? A voice from the back of the room said very clearly: "It seems to me that if you drink alcohol you will never have worms".
The conclusion that I get from this story is that everything can be seen from two points of view, sometimes completely opposite..
